I quite enjoyed the third novel in the dark tower series。 It was full of action and kept my attention。 But, the end got a bit weird for me and I don't know why but I didn't enjoy it so much and the ending wasn't really, good, like if I read this when the book was first published, I wouldn't wanting to know exactly what happens on the next page because King kind of told us what will happen for the first like 10 pages of the 4th novel。Anyway I enjoyed and am interested to see what the series will I quite enjoyed the third novel in the dark tower series。 It was full of action and kept my attention。 But, the end got a bit weird for me and I don't know why but I didn't enjoy it so much and the ending wasn't really, good, like if I read this when the book was first published, I wouldn't wanting to know exactly what happens on the next page because King kind of told us what will happen for the first like 10 pages of the 4th novel。Anyway I enjoyed and am interested to see what the series will take itself now! 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it, click here。 Het boek begon langzaam, maar aan het eind is ie toch moeilijk neer te leggen。 Vind de man-ontmoet-hond-in-dystopie trope een tikkeltje cliché, maar dat kan ook komen omdat het tegenwoordig soort van gestandaardiseerd is in films

This is the best book of the Series so far。

Still don’t know how I went through my late ‘80s Steven king obsession without reading the Dark Tower books! So glad my sister Katelyn recommended I read it! These are weird and scary and fun to read; some of King’s best writing, too。

More like。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。 The Waste OF MY TIME Lands。 Gosh, Stephen。 Enough already! You can't keep changing the rules of your imaginary world in each new book! That's the advice I would've given him back in 1992。 Probably too late now。 More like。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。 The Waste OF MY TIME Lands。 Gosh, Stephen。 Enough already! Just one word "Awesome"。 This book has jaw dropping suspense。 First encounter with the supernatural & monsters, the character development(esp。 Eddie) and end with a nail biting cliffhanger。 All that you need in a book is here。 Happy that I took the series to read at this time, can't imagine waiting for 6 years to read the next book!! I am fascinated with the split dimension and time travel。 The characters are very real。 I’m not sure I like them, maybe because they are too real, but I do feel I know them。 On with the quest!

These。。 Books are amazing on an astronomical level。 They are comparable with the Harry Potter series, that good! Although i will say I'm almost finished with The Waste Lands, and that's more than what I read of Harry Potter。。 Even though they are both a beautifully intricate series。 These。。 Books are amazing on an astronomical level。 They are comparable with the Harry Potter series, that good! This one was a bit rough, wasn't it? I'd heard that this is the "make or break book" for the series, the one where you're either all in on The Dark Tower or the one that pushes you off it for good。 Despite being three books in I did feel a bit of fatigue on Stephen King right now, having read a bunch of his books this year and with a whole lot more to go。 I'm wondering how much of that is the sense that this book is still cleaning up messes King leftover from the first volume。 In so many ways th This one was a bit rough, wasn't it? More uneven than The Drawing of the Three, but it makes up for erratic pacing with grand scope。 This is the first time in the series that King really expands the world and adds depth to it。 There's a burst of action from the get-go, and then a calmer middle section, followed by another flurry of gunfights and a talking train。Also, as far as cliffhangers go, this is a good one (though, I find it both befuddling and amazing that King takes this cliffhanger and decides to spend almost the entirety More uneven than The Drawing of the Three, but it makes up for erratic pacing with grand scope。 This is the first time in the series that King really expands the world and adds depth to it。 There's a burst of action from the get-go, and then a calmer middle section, followed by another flurry of gunfights and a talking train。Also, as far as cliffhangers go, this is a good one (though, I find it both befuddling and amazing that King takes this cliffhanger and decides to spend almost the entirety of book four focusing on backstory)。In short, The Waste Lands has a lot of good stuff in it that, even when messily executed, helps define how unique and exciting this series is。 。。。more
